Below are the different installation options and how they may interact with the key.
Stand-Alone (run with hard disk key): Install the software on one computer and activate the software key (activation code provided from Primatech) on the hard disk. Pros are that no diskette/dongle is required to run the software. Cons are that the software can only be run on one computer. The software key can be moved between hard disks without contacting Primatech.
Stand-Alone (run with floppy key diskette or USB Dongle): Install the software on any number of computers and users would share the diskette/dongle to run the software. For example, John runs the software and when he is done he gives the diskette/dongle to Mary to run the software. Pros are that an unlimited number of users can share the software. Cons are the logistics of sharing the diskette/dongle and the diskette may not work on an external USB floppy drive. When requested, the diskette/dongle is shipped activated ready to use.

IMPORTANT - If the floppy key diskette/USB Dongle is removed while the software is running, Tracker Client will end after a short time period. All data will be saved. To avoid seeing this error, do not remove the hardware key (“dongle”) from your computer until you have shut down Tracker Client. To restart Tracker Client, simply attach the hardware key (“dongle”) for Tracker Client and run the program.

Network (run with key on the network): Install the software on any number of computers and activate and share the software key (activation code provided from Primatech) off the network. Pros are that unlimited number of people can share the software. Cons are that if you are not connected to the network, you cannot run the software. The program files must be installed on a local drive.
